Now Let's Look At The Cost Savings That Are Possible By Not
Replacing The Old Fax Machine But Rather Switch To A PC To Fax
Service...
First, we deduct the
once-off PC to Fax registration fee of R95 from a R1000. We are left with
R905. Right? Now let's take that R905 and
divide it by the most expensive PC to Fax local rate per minute, which is
currently R2.20, and see what we get: 411.
Thus, at a minimum we can send 411 faxes at no additional cost with PC to Fax. At a minimum, because
afax normally takes less than a
minute to deliver with PC to Fax, and the cost are usually much
lower than R2.20 per minute.
PC to Fax is already the clear
winner and we have not even taken into account the cost of sending 411 faxes the traditional way. To send
those 411 faxes the traditional way mean that you have to take into account the rates per minute, maintenance
costs, et cetera. Any reasonable person has to admit that it would cost way more than a R1000 at the end of the
day.
